After being drawn to Nikki at Magic Market in Orange County, I ended up getting a reading from them at the market in Los Angeles the following month. Nikki is skilled with so much wisdom and insight.

Today was my first formal tarot reading; my mom and I both got one from Nikki at a witchy event. There were multiple readers in the room but we were both immediately drawn to them. Nikki has a very calm and reassuring demeanor and really took their time explaining cards and their meaning to us. I was a bit shocked when part way through I noticed they had a small statue of Bastet on the table—Bastet is my #1 goddess and I truly believe she drew me to Nikki’s table specifically.

My mom is also not traditionally “witchy” and she joined simply because I wanted to go. She was nervous about getting a reading, but Nikki made sure to explain everything and she ended up happy with it.

I met Nikki last year at Brujita Market (July 2023) and they are definitely someone I trust when it comes to my energy and my readings because in the modern age of spirituality, a lot of people unfortunately come to readers in the hopes that they enable their delusions of everything being so sweet or that the world is against them. What I love about Nikki is that they are the opposite of an enabler, rather gently shining the light in my eyes to snap out of anything I need to be aware of and to lock in. They remind me that although things are rough, I have every option to make my life or whatever surrounds it better, it’s just a matter of how bad I want it and will work for it.

A great first tarot reading experience! This was my first time I got my tarot cards read (I chose the 5 card mini pull), and it was a wonderful experience!
